Old town vs coast vs northeast. Three fundamentally different experiences. The old town is cultural, walkable, and restaurant-rich. The coast (Paleokastritsa, Glyfada, Agios Gordios) is beach-forward and scenic. The northeast (Kassiopi, Kalami, Agni) is quiet, romantic, and literary. Choose based on your priorities, or split your stay.
Airport convenience. Corfu's airport is only 2 km from Corfu Town — one of the shortest airport-to-town transfers in Greece. You can be in your old-town hotel within twenty minutes of landing. This makes Corfu uniquely practical for short trips and late arrivals.
